Notes:
"My new foster-mom says that I've come a long way! When I first came to the new house I was so frightened of everything and hissed and scratched. I didn't mean to hurt anyone but I was just so frightened! Now though, I'm exploring my new world and learning that I don't have to be so afraid!! My foster-mom says it will take a lot of time for me to become comfortable in my forever home but I know that I'm worth it :)
I have learned to play with feathers and my favorite time of the day is when the big red dot comes out from under the door (laser pointer!). My foster mom and dad are always laughing when I try to catch it but so far I can't seem to get it! I am not afraid of being picked up if my foster parents move slowly but I don't like sudden movements. And once I'm cradled in her arms, I purr and purr and purr!!"
Bambam will need a lot of love, patience and attention. As his foster mom I have been trying to expose him to a lot of different experiences--new people, new toys, new environments (changing his room in the house) and new sounds. He has come out of his shell a lot in the week that we've had him. We had our friends over last night and by the end of the evening they could hold and pet this handsome fellow! He is becoming more trusting of people but he seems to have no troubles with other cats. I don't believe he will have any problem being in a multiple cat household so long as the resident cat is willing to play with him (we have two of our own cats and one loves to play with BamBam and the other just ignores him). I don't think he would do so well with small children, yet anyway. Fast movements frighten this little guy too much. I will keep updating his info every few weeks to let you know of his progress!!
