This summer has presented us with many, many, MANY medical cases for both dog and cat team. We are committed to getting all of our pets healthy and adoptable, and we need your help on two!
Pippy came to us as a stray from Animal Control last week. He was in rough shape with swollen, infected eyes, matted fur, dirty, as well as a horrible smell coming from his mouth. The veterinarians determined that he needed NINE teeth removed, the costs being well beyond our typical vetting costs and what the adoption fee would cover. Pippy says Thank you and will be ready for adoption in a few weeks!
Zion was rescued from the woods and struggled to gain weight. He started crashing and needed to be taken into Emergency. Over the next two days, he was stabilized and given fluids and glucose every few hours. While there was no specific diagnosis, without this visit he would not have survived. His medical bills were around $800. Now stable in his foster home, he is making small steps forward each day. We hope that in another 4-8 weeks he will be available for adoption.
We thank you in advance for your support! Any dollar amount is appreciated!
